Choose "Network":
The "Network" preferences screen:
If necessary, create a New Location to leave existing prefs untouched:
Note that each Location can store both a Dialup setting AS WELL AS an Ethernet setting (see below for further details)
The PPP Options screen:
You can close these prefs. From now on, you can Connect and Disconnect from the new Modem menu in the upper-right of the screen:
Choose Built-in Ethernet:
The PPPoE Options screen:
You can close these prefs. From now on, you can Connect and Disconnect from the new Ethernet menu in the upper-right of the screen:
